TECNOLOGÍA DE LA INFORMACIÓN Y LA COMUNICACIÓN EN LA EDUCACION

Se refiere al conjunto de avances tecnológicos que nos proporcionan la informática, los medios de comunicación, la tecnología, etc., brindándonos información y herramientas que podemos aplicar como recurso pedagógico en la educación.


Hoy en día se hace necesario desarrollar habilidades tecnológicas, que permitan además de aprender a manejar los equipos, aprender a procesar y seleccionar la calidad de la información que se necesita usar en un momento determinado.

Es hora de hacer cambios, pero primordialmente cambiar la mentalidad, asimilar los nuevos procesos que nos inducen a enfrentarnos más a los medios audiovisuales, que a los tradicionales medios escritos.

Así que como docentes tenemos una gran tarea que enfrentar, no se puede seguir enseñando de la misma manera, es necesario cambiar las metodologías usando los nuevos recursos, cambiar los procesos y aún más los contenidos, es decir que se hace necesario un verdadero cambio educativo que permita a los estudiantes un desarrollo de nuevas habilidades.
El papel del maestro ya no es solo de transmisión de información sino de guía que le ayude a los estudiantes el camino para encontrar, ordenar, seleccionar, y analizar la información.
